The numerical reversibility of the bidimensional billiard -192 particles- [La réversibilité numérique du billard bidimensionnel -192 particules-].




These simulations have a duration of 513 time steps. At t=0 just one particle starts moving (on the right-hand side and halfway up). Between t=256 and t=257, all velocities are reversed. The reversibility of the computations depends on the number of particles:


192 particles: reversibility.
336 particles: non reversibility.
768 particles: non reversibility.
1376 particles: non reversibility.
